Innovation and Invention Competition through Exhibition (iCompEx) is a Competition & Exhibition of Innovation Project or New Discovery.

This competition serves as a platform for participants to promote their research results to the public. It is also a continuous effort to encourage researchers in producing original innovations or creations. iCompEx is open to researchers from all over Malaysia consisting of Polytechnics, Community Colleges, Mara High Skills Colleges (KKTM), Vocational Colleges, Giat Mara, Industrial Training Institutes (ILP), National Youth Skills Institutes (IKBN), Government Agencies, Private Agencies, Schools, Individuals and others.

iCompEx is an annual event organised by Politeknik Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah (POLIMAS) Jitra, Kedah, since 2013. The iCompEx organisation has full cooperation from the Department of Polytechnic and Community College Education (JPPKK) and the Kedah State Government. In 2015, iCompEx successfully attracted the most participation, which was then recognised by "The Malaysia Book of Records for Organising the Largest Participation in an Innovation and Invention Competition."
